Justice

Justice

Cause and effect drawn as a straight line. This card asks you to weigh evidence over impressions, to see where a situation has quietly tipped out of balance, and to take an honest share of what follows.

KeywordsFairness, balance, judgment, responsibility, truth, contracts, consequences, clarity

Upright meaning

A moment for measuring rather than reacting. Decisions you postponed, agreements left half-spoken, terms settled only in conversation: they surface now and ask to be made explicit. Gathering only the evidence that flatters your side keeps the scales unsteady, while testing the other person's position by the same standard is what makes a conclusion hold. If paperwork or a contract is involved, reading the fine print once more is time well spent.

Reversed meaning

The same rule seems to apply differently depending on who holds it. Accountability blurs, or the person willing to admit fault keeps absorbing the cost. This reversal also shows up as an unusually harsh standard aimed inward, where every outcome becomes personal failure. Separate what happened from how it felt, then redraw the line between your part and theirs. Fairness starts with an accurate ledger, not a louder argument.

Love & relationships

Reciprocity comes under review. If one person has been doing most of the adjusting, that imbalance becomes hard to ignore. Naming the specific thing that bothered you tends to help more than storing it up and hoping the other person notices on their own.

Work & money

Reviews, settlements, and renewals put the record in charge. Results speak plainly here, so neither inflating nor downplaying them serves you. With money, getting terms in writing now prevents a slower argument later.

Advice

When feeling runs ahead of fact, delay the decision by a day and write the situation down before you answer.
