Seven of Pentacles
A pause partway through the work, before the results are countable. The Seven of Pentacles is about stepping back from what you planted, weighing how far it has come, and deciding whether to keep tending it.

Upright meaning
Effort has gone in; the return has not arrived yet. That gap is uncomfortable, and this card treats the discomfort as ordinary rather than as a warning sign. Use the pause to separate two very different questions: is the approach wrong, or has enough time simply not passed? Numbers that move slowly are not the same as numbers that do not move at all. Reviewing what you have built so far tends to settle the impatience better than pushing harder would.
Reversed meaning
Sunk cost starts talking. You may be staying with something mainly because of the hours already spent, repeating a method that stopped producing a while ago — persistence and habit look identical from the inside. The opposite reading lives here too: pulling up roots to inspect them, demanding proof before anything has had a chance to take hold. Setting a date and a threshold in advance makes the eventual decision far less painful.
Love & relationships
The connection may be ripening at a different pace than you hoped. Rather than pressing for an answer, look at what has actually accumulated between you — ease, honesty, small reliability. Longevity by itself is not growth, and this card gently separates the two.
Work & money
Projects, savings, and skills are all in a slow phase here. Keep notes on what you tried and what shifted; they become the evidence behind your later call. Since no outcome can be promised in advance, decide now what result would justify continuing and what would tell you to stop.
Advice
Instead of chasing a faster result, set a date to review it. Patience works better when it has an end point.
