Terms of Use

1. Purpose

These Terms set out the conditions and procedures for using the tarot readings, reading tickets, reading archive, and related services provided by Room78.

2. Key Terms

• Reading tickets are digital service credits that may be used for Room78 tarot readings and follow-up questions.
• Paid tickets are reading tickets purchased through payment, and free tickets are reading tickets granted through signup, referral, or event benefits.
• Reading records include the question entered by the user, selected cards, reading answers, follow-up questions and answers, and reading ticket usage history.

3. Nature of the Service

• Tarot readings provided through the service are digital content offered for entertainment and reference.
• Room78 does not provide professional medical, legal, financial, investment, or mental health advice, and reading results do not replace consultation or diagnosis by a qualified professional.
• Reading results do not guarantee the future, profit, acceptance, relationship recovery, health recovery, legal outcomes, or any other result. Users are responsible for their own final decisions and actions.

4. Signup and Accounts

• Signup requires an email address, password or Google login information, confirmation that the user is at least 14 years old, and confirmation of required consent items.
• Users are responsible for keeping their account information secure.
• Users must not use another person's information, enter false information, or interfere with operation of the service.
• Room78 may restrict ticket grants, payments, or service use when policy violations are detected, including fraudulent signup, repeated signup, payment abuse, or automated excessive requests.

5. Products, Prices, and Ticket Use

• The number of reading tickets, price, currency, payment method, and usage conditions for each product are shown before payment.
• Reading tickets are digital service credits with no physical delivery, and they are issued to the account immediately after payment is completed.
• The usage conditions, usage order, expiration, or restriction standards for free and paid tickets follow the criteria shown on screen and the operating policy.
• Free tickets, bonus tickets, and event tickets are not redeemable for cash and may not be transferred or resold.

6. Payments, Cancellations, and Refunds

• Payments may be processed through payment processors or payment method providers shown on screen, including PortOne and PayPal.
• Refunds for unused paid reading tickets are reviewed based on the payment record, unused ticket balance, applicable laws, and processing standards of payment processors and card issuers.
• Reading tickets that have already been used or deducted, free tickets, bonus tickets, and event tickets are not refundable.
• If a payment error, duplicate payment, missing ticket grant, or technical failure is confirmed, Room78 will review the payment status and usage history and take an appropriate action such as granting tickets, restoring tickets, or issuing a refund.
• Refunds are processed to the original payment method where possible. Exchange rates, international payments, processing time, and fee policies of card issuers or payment processors may follow each provider's standards.
• Room78 does not charge a separate service fee for submitting a refund request, but fees, exchange-rate differences, or international payment costs charged or not refunded by payment method providers may be borne by the user.

7. Reading Records and Deletion

• Questions entered by users, selected cards, and reading answers may be stored to provide the reading archive, connect follow-up questions, manage service quality, and analyze errors.
• When a user deletes a reading, it is removed from the visible list.
• Even after a reading is deleted, records needed for payment, settlement, abuse prevention, dispute handling, or legally required retention may be stored separately.

8. Prohibited Conduct

• Using the service for unlawful purposes or in a way that harms others
• Sending excessive requests with automated tools or otherwise disrupting the system
• Entering or transmitting content that infringes another person's personal information, payment information, sensitive information, or rights
• Using the service as a replacement for professional medical, legal, financial, or investment judgment
• Copying or redistributing service content, images, code, or related materials without permission

9. Service Availability and Liability Limits

• Room78 works to provide a stable service, but transient errors or delays may occur due to external factors such as networks, cloud infrastructure, payment processors, LLM APIs, or browser environments.
• If Room78 is responsible for a failure to issue tickets or provide a reading after payment, Room78 will review usage history and take a reasonable action such as restoring tickets, re-providing the service, or issuing a refund.
• If a user violates these Terms or abuse is confirmed, Room78 may restrict service use, ticket grants, or refund processing.

10. Changes, Contact, and Disputes

• If service features, payment methods, refund policies, or operating policies change, Room78 may announce the effective date and key changes through the service screen or other notice methods.
• Inquiries about accounts, payments, refunds, reading tickets, or personal information may be submitted through the account, usage guide, or support path shown in the service.
• Disputes related to these Terms or use of the service are resolved under applicable laws and ordinary e-commerce dispute handling procedures.
